Wendy Pouw is Chief Digital Officer at Publicis Groupe Benelux. She started her career in digital media almost 20 years ago at media agency Mindshare. At that it was still ‘early days’ for digital media. Because of this there was a lot of room for experimenting, innovating and pushing the status quo. All things that Wendy gets excited about. After 8 year working on numerous clients, in various industries she moved to client side to take on an European role within the Telco sector at Liberty Global. Throughout her 7 years there Wendy has worked on strategic projects like the Pan European Media pitch, as well as implementing DCO and DMP in various markets. In 2019 Wendy preferred a more local role, which she found as Managing Director at IAB Netherlands which, under her leadership, became the first trade association to combine media, tech, creativity and data by merging with VEA to become VIA in 2021.
But, the heart wants what the heart wants and for Wendy this meant going back to agency side to become CDO at Publicis Groupe Benelux. She loves to work and play on the intersection of tech, data, media and creativity and get inspired by all talents around her. Wendy loves famous one-liners and is always open for a chat on football of Formule 1.
